Celebrating 15 Years of the Podcast New Books in Psychoanalysis

When New Books Network launched the podcast New Books in Psychoanalysis it was among the first new media to present interviews of analytic authors to the world at large, beyond the walls of psychoanalytic institutes.  Join us in celebrating this pioneering, Gradiva Award-winning podcast series with founding editor and CMPS faculty member Tracy Morgan.  NBiP's team of hosts, representing diverse theoretical orientations, has interviewed nearly 250 clinicians — both exciting new thinkers and leaders in the field — developing a new form of psychoanalytic dialogue while drawing an international audience of over 40,000 monthly listeners.  At this gathering, Morgan will be interviewed by NBiP co-host, IPTAR faculty member, author, and psychoanalyst Dr. Anna Fishzon, about NBiP's history and how the field has evolved since its first episodes.  The interview will be followed by a celebration of the 15th anniversary of this unique platform and its contributions to the field of psychoanalysis.
