About
Modern Psychoanalysis, the journal of CMPS, has been publishing continuously since 1976 and presents the current thinking and practice of modern psychoanalysis. Founded by Phyllis Meadow and published twice a year, it is also a clearing house for articles that extend the theory and practice of psychoanalysis to the full range of emotional disorders, pushing the boundaries of psychoanalytic inquiry. Its authors have been nominated and awarded Gradiva Awards for best article, the most recent winner being 2012 for Robert Marshall’s “On mirroring, fractals, chaos, and psychoanalysis.” It is indexed in the Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing (PEP), the leading psychoanalytic research data base, and PsychInfo.
