This program consists of four courses:
- Maturation
- Transference and Resistance,- Countertransference
and
- Analytic Listening.
Beginning in the spring 2025 semester, we will offer two courses per semester.
The number of courses, and order in which they are taken, is up to the student. Students may opt to take one course or as many as they choose, it is not necessary to take all four. We award 15 CE credits per semester for licensed, clinical psychoanalysts, psychologists and social workers. All DL classes are conducted via Zoom. Most classes consist of students from various locations, but it is also possible, if a student has a group of people, who are interested, for a class to be arranged so the class meets together in-person.
Classes are 10 weeks in length, and meet for 90 minutes. Class readings are sent to registered students via a Dropbox link, at no additional cost.Attendance and weekly written logs are required. If a student successfully completes the program's four courses, and seeks further study, additional courses can be arranged.
This program is part of the CMPS continuing education department and does not meet eligibility for certification or licensure. The semester fee is $525.
