Tuesday, June 12, 2018 | 6:00-7:30 PM
June Workshop
Being able to meet people, form a connection, and build a relationship is central to professional, business, and personal life. This workshop will provide practical advice on how to overcome both fear of failure and fear of success. Participants will gain insight into what frightens them about engaging in networking and how to resolve their resistances to doing so. With the help of role-playing, participants will learn techniques for approaching a person, beginning a conversation, and laying the groundwork for a relationship.
The presenter, Ernest Brod, is a trustee of the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies and the director of Brooklyn Seminars in Modern Psychoanalysis. He has been utilizing the principles of modern psychoanalysis for 35 years in his workplace experience as a global corporate investigator, CEO, entrepreneur, and attorney, as well as in his personal and family life.
